Chemopharm has been a pioneer in introducing new instrument techniques and research tools into the region by organising seminars and workshops with scientists and engineers from overseas universities, hospitals and manufacturers.

Our pride is our support to customer
In 1994, we expanded our activities by establishing an Application and Training Laboratory in our own premises. The objective of this Laboratory was to provide application support to our customers. We have established training programmes to train and increase proficiency and operational skills for users of Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer and High Performance Liquid Chromatography and other sophisticated equipment. Seminars and workshops are vital part of the programmes.

Building excellence in logistical support
We have always strived to provide excellent service to all our customers. To enable efficient delivery of goods in impeccable condition, we have established a large, modern and well-equipped warehouse in the 2nd half of 1997. This modern warehouse has enough storage space to meet all our warehousing requirements in the foreseeable future. It is fully equipped with the infrastructure and equipment for complete quality inspection for incoming and outgoing goods. These improved facilities will ensure our customer to receive the product not only promptly but also the best quality.

Organic Growth, coupled by acquiring distribution rights of new technologies and companies will continue to propel us forward.
Therefore in 1997 we identified both the medical instruments and related in-vitro diagnostic products and process control equipment & wares as the new areas.

In late 1997, we managed to secure the distribution rights for several prominent Medical products manufacturers and since then the medical division has been growing rapidly.

In late 1998, we also managed to secure the distribution rights for a large, US-based catalogue house and manufacturer of process control and laboratory products from Cole-Parmer Instrument, USA.

With the addition of Cole-Parmer, it has enhanced the range of products that we can offer thus further entrenching us as a major and turn-key supplier of laboratory, scientific, medical and process control products.

In 2000, with the addition of Bio Rad to our portfolio, our learning of the Clinical Diagnostics market and its needs greatly increased.

In 2001 we successfully proposed, and executed the National Diabetes Monitoring Project for Malaysia.
